LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was the name of an American professional player of basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is known as King James he is widely considered to be among the top athletes of all time. He is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player in history. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships as well as four NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has 2 Olympic Gold medals. James has scored the highest points in the playoffs and has the second most career points and has the seventh most assists in his career. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, an all-time record. He was also selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. Ten NBA Finals, the most than any other player in the history of basketball. He was a part of eight in a row from 2011 until 2018. In 2021 James was picked to join The NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first athlete in NBA history to score 10,000 or more career points in rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. He received much attention from the media for the prospect of his NBA stardom. James was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the top player in the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of Year He quickly established himself as one of the top league players, winning his NBA MVP award twice in 2009 and 2010. After failing to win the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to become a member of the Miami Heat this was announced during the television show The Decision and is among the most controversial free agents in sports history.
