Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is known best for her films roles, including Heidi In Somersault (2004) as Heidi Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and also for her collaboration with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). For the latter Cornish received her very first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin's parents believed in her and pushed her to become an actor. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned the art of acting. Gilpin was still auditioning for films and television roles and also appeared in Off Broadway productions. Gilpin was able to land a tiny role on Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin had a few small TV performances in the coming years However, her big break occurred with Nurse Jackie's recurring role. Gilpin's character, Carrie Roman Gilpin as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, made an appearance in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie before the show concluded on June 15, in 2015. In the same year Gilpin played a role in the crime-thriller True Story (2015).
