Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1978) was born in Campinas, Sao Paulo. She's a well-known actor in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She is currently an analyst overseeing the Assassination Witness project as well as a core member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. The GI-TOC's research activities focus on assassinations, disappearances and various forms of violence within the context of illicit economies. The research area she is interested in is the effect of organized criminality on law, policy and laws relating with human rights. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. She holds a LL.M. with a concentration in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree with a magna cumlaude distinction in Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The experience she has gained as a lawyer has included four years of practicing with a firm that is specialized in the area of public law litigation. Additionally, she has held assistant roles with non-governmental organizations based in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
